Tree Hunting

Sure, Christmas is technically over, but I found a really nice color palette that worked great for this character sketch, so I just went for it! This is an exploration piece for a personal project I'm working on this year. I'm trying to find a nice blend of linework and painterly styles; I'm really excited, because I feel that I'm just about hitting the mark with this one!
